U-C Books to Prisoners Spring Benefit Book Sale!
Saturday, October 12, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Books make great gifts, and they will have thousands of gently-used books for sale between $.50 and $2.00, with some specially marked; all subjects, including textbooks, fiction, reference, children books and teen/young adult, and some odds and ends (CDs, DVDs) as well! This year’s sale will include a large selection of books
about Theater, Women’s Studies & Gender, and Catholicism.
All proceeds benefit the mission of U-C Books to Prisoners: to provide books to people incarcerated in Illinois at no charge to them, and to promote education and awareness in our community about incarceration.
Carry out is available. Cash, check and credit/debit cards accepted.
