Making St. Patrick’s Day Official again in a new location, as posted on social media 3/13/24 –
MIX 94.5 is once again teaming with sister station, Rewind 92.5 to bring the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade to Downtown Urbana on Sunday, March 17, from 2-4 p.m.
“The World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade Party” is now happening on 3/17/24 from 2-4 p.m. at Rigg’s Beer Company, 1901 S High Cross Rd, Urbana.
There will be a bunch of games, music and fun, Baldarotta’s will be serving up some Bangers and Mash and Corned Beef, Cabbage and Potatoes. And of course, the finest beer grown in Urbana from Riggs Beer Company.
DJ Silkee will be on hand to help set the party mood, plus, you’ll see performances by the Shamrock Academy of Irish Dance!
Join in to celebrate the greenest day of the year, St. Patrick’s Day!
We’ll be hanging out at Cafeteria and Company from 2p – 4p, enjoying some of the finest beer grown in Urbana from Riggs Beer Company, and having some great Irish themed food from Baldarotta’s!
The party starts at 2, the parade will kick off at 3:30, and when it’s all done, (around 3:35), you’re welcome to join them in the street to finish off the parade in style!
