FREE! Join the Champaign County Forest Preserve at Champaign Park District’s Porter Park for an adventure for all ages exploring trees and their historical legacies! Embark on a guided walk through the park, where you’ll learn to identify local trees. But that’s not all! Dive into the rich history of wood and how it was used by early settlers of Champaign County. Attendants will get the chance to interact with artifacts from the Museum of the Grand Prairie’s collection! All are welcome, no registration required.
