Queer Prom 2023 is going Over the Rainbow
This year’s Queer Prom is going Over the Rainbow for a fun filled night celebrating queer youth and their allies! Students between 13 and 18 are invited to join at the University YMCA (1001 S Wright St, Champaign) on May 13th from 6:30 to 9:30pm for a spring semester send-off that is sure to be like no other. Featuring a return from the fabulous DJ Silkee, the organizers hope students are ready to enjoy what is sure to be a *wonderful* night!
This year’s Queer Prom will again feature available clothing, face painting, and make up teams who can help the attendees get glam like Glinda and dance the night away in style!
Ultimately, Queer Prom is an affirming, welcoming, and empowering event and they want attendees to feel comfortable being their authentic selves in a safe environment.
Teens who need financial assistance traveling to Champaign may fill out this form to request it.
