Area 6th-8th grade students and their parents are invited to explore healthcare careers at a free event hosted by Parkland College.
The Parkland College Health Professions Career Exploration event will be held Saturday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. at Parkland on Mattis, 1309 N. Mattis Ave. in Champaign.
Students can check out hands-on health career labs, classrooms, and program equipment during the event. Parents considering a career change will also have the opportunity to experience the features of Parkland’s Health Professions programs.
Health Professions faculty and student support services staff will be available to answer questions. Participants will also enjoy refreshments and a giveaway from Community Education summer youth camp.
