Harvest Moon Drive-In in Gibson City will kickoff the summer fun with the first annual Chilly Dilly Pickle Fest May 31st-June 2nd.
Up on screen 1, they will have the family (and food) related movie Garfield. Back on screen 2, they will be showing the iconic TWISTER.
Dill Pickles and Drive-ins have been an inseparable pair since the 1950’s and they’re celebrating their love of pickles in a big way!
They will have over 20 different Pickle themed food and drink items including:
Dachos (dill pickle nachos), Pickle Burgers, Pickle Fries, Pickle Slushies and Shaved Ice, several pickle inspired drinks/mocktails, pickle candy, pickle cotton candy, pickle popcorn, pickle pretzels, mini donuts, pickle condiments, pickle pizza, pickle chips, fried pickle chips, pickle flights, pickle snacks and a whole host more!
They’ll have all 3 of the food stands open for this event including the Tiki Hut/Pickle Bar, The Snack Bar & Burger Barn with the specials until they run out!
They will have fun photo spots including a life-size pickle jar, head in the hole photo prop, neon pickle wall, and a Pickle Posse of fun pickle characters to get photos with. (You can even put on the pickle costume and get pictures in it!)
We’re selling a wide variety fun pickle merch including commemorative shirts, stickers, temporary tattoos, keychains and bringing in 3 vendors to offer up creative and customizable pickle items like blankets, tumblers/cups, shirts, collectibles & more.
They hope to make this the biggest pickle party in central IL!
They plan to open the gates around 5:30 Friday and Saturday and 6:30 pm Sunday so people can get their pickle party on and show the world why the Harvest Moon is a big Dill this summer!
Admission tickets to the movies showing May 31-June 2 are your entrance fee for pickle fest and the movie.
