Enjoy a spooky, nature-themed scavenger hunt on the Bruce Hannon Levee Trail and other kids’ activities to celebrate the natural spookiness of the floodplain forest. This is an open-house style event; arrive at your convenience and complete any or all of the activities! The parking lot is just south of the golf course in Monticello.
Activities will include pumpkin painting, a spooky nature scavenger hunt, crafts, expert interpreters along the trail, and cider and fall treats. The activities require some hiking; participants are welcome to do a short out and back or hike the entire 2.3mile loop. Outdoor appropriate footwear encouraged. Costumes optional!
The event will be weather dependent. Check the LCF Facebook page and website for updates in the event of inclement weather.
