FREE. FUN. Join us on Saturday morning for an event open to anyone interested in STEM. Come chat with our University of Illinois college students in STEM and watch as these incredible students perform demos in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Building (ECEB) Lobby. There will be kid-friendly STEM activities (4th-12th graders). Street parking available. Help yourself to bagels, coffee, and juice.
Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering (WECE) will be hosting the Women in Engineering Fair: Per Aspera Ad Astra (Through Adversity, to the Stars) for this week’s Saturday Engineering for Everyone event. This event aims to showcase the incredible women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) organizations across our campus and allow them to share their experiences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, while inspiring younger students to explore engineering. Each Registered Student Organization (RSO) will have a table with information about their organization and a kid-friendly activity relating to their engineering specialty.
Saturday, March 29, 11 AM – 1 PM, ECE Building Lobby
