Get ready to kick off the new year with a spectacular evening of winter fun at the Annual First Fridays: Fire & Ice event on Friday, January 3rd from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the David S. Palmer Arena in Danville.
This free, family-friendly event promises a perfect mix of ice-cold thrills and fiery excitement!
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy ice skating and sledding (for children ages 7 and under). After working up a chill, guests can warm up with a variety of exciting activities, including fire safety demonstrations hosted by the Danville Fire Department and cozy campfire stories from the Danville Public Library.
The night will heat up with an amazing fire spinner performance outside the main entrance. Guests can also enjoy a wide range of fun activities, including door prizes for completing a scavenger hunt, a photo booth, and face painting for all ages!
Indulge in delicious winter-themed concessions, including hot cocoa, cupcakes, candy, and more! These treats are the perfect way to fuel up for all the excitement throughout the night.
To join in on the fun, head to the arena’s box office entrance off Main Street at the corner of Main and Walnut. And just a heads-up, the arena has a clear bag-only policy for all events, so be sure to pack accordingly!
Please remember that events may be canceled or rescheduled last minute due to unpredictable weather or other factors. We encourage you to reach out to event organizers before heading out to an event to verify it is still happening.
