The City of Champaign Fire Department will have a Touch-A-Truck event, fire extinguisher demo, and Old Number 1 at the Champaign County History Museum (102 E. University Ave.) on October 12, from 10 am – 2 pm. Everyone is invited!
Fire Prevention Week is October 6-12 and this year’s campaign, “Smoke Alarms: Make them work for you!” is intended to educate everyone about the importance of having working smoke alarms in their homes. The City reminds you to test your smoke alarms monthly!
