Thanks to Christie Clinic for being our title sponsor of this event.
Thanks also to Top Tier Lessons and KC Counseling, Rooted Pathways Counseling and Consulting and the Illinois Rowing Team for being secondary sponsors for this event.
Be sure to check out info on the offerings Top Tier has: one-on-one sports lessons with NCAA student-athletes!
KC Counseling is a private practice specializing in eating disorders and body image issues. They are health at every size, intuitive eating, and anti-diet providers. Their mission is to assist patients in healing their relationship with food and their body, help patients achieve body acceptance and liberation, and actively fight diet culture, weight stigma, and systemic fatphobia. They’ll be at this event so be sure to check them out!
In a world that often emphasizes individual journeys Rooted Pathways Counseling and Consulting recognizes that healing is often a collective and interconnected process. They guide families and individuals to find a path to a more liberated and fulfilled life by providing a variety of therapy and counseling services including multicultural therapy, trauma therapy, therapy for anxiety and depression and online therapy. Be sure to visit their table at this event!
Illinois Rowing Team represents the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in regional and national championships. Rowing is unfortunately expensive to participate in. They don’t want finances to be a barrier of entry to the sport, so the team has fundraising programs such as Rent-a-Rower where you can hire their athletes to help out with your home or business projects while supporting the team. They can help with anything from heavy lifting and yard work to cleaning and organizing for $20 per person per hour.
Other stores and kiosks plan to be open too! Be sure to check out The Baby Fold, Moms Demand Action, and The Hangout for candy, info, and activities.
