Following the Club’s tradition for its December meeting, its meeting this month will be a social event without a formal program. The group will meet in the Staerkel Planetarium’s lobby, which facilitates getting to know other members better. Members should feel free to bring treats, snacks, and sweets, although this isn’t required.
If possible, please bring items that minimize touching the food. For example, a bag of chips isn’t ideal, but items that could be skewered with toothpicks would work better. If you bring a cake or a pie, please slice it in advance. Crockpots are permitted. Please note that Parkland College prohibits alcohol on its campus.
Tickets are not necessary, and there is no admission charge. There is a small charge for membership if you decide to join. While they hope you will be able to join us in person, you can still join us for a lower-calorie virtual meeting at https:/meet.cuas.org.
