Come and explore a captivating collection by Jesse Jaeckel, a graduate student in Costume Technology at the University of Illinois. This display features five stunning costumes inspired by native Midwest plants. Visit anytime during museum open hours (1-5pm) to marvel at the detailed design renderings, see samples and photos of the construction process, and admire the finished costumes on display. Connect with the natural landscape through clothing and be inspired to learn more about the plants in your own backyard. Don’t miss this unique blend of art and nature!
Join them on Friday, April 18 from 5:30-7 PM to kick off the showcase of this collection! Meet the designer and enjoy some light refreshments.
