Plant a Salsa Garden: A Seed Starting Program | Registration Required

Using plantable pots, you’ll start the seeds to grow salsa ingredients: tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, and cilantro! According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, the last frost should be around the third week of April, so you can just plant the whole container in the ground once the seedlings have been growing for a few weeks.

Registration is required to ensure enough supplies; you only need to register once per family/household. Seeds are provided by The Urbana Free Library Seed Exchange.
