The Fourth of July has arrived
Families can choose from many events and activities happening this weekend in Champaign-Urbana
This is the pre-Fourth of July edition of the Weekend Planner! Yes, we’re looking ahead to the weekend, so this planner will look a little different than usual. The fireworks fun lasts all weekend long and we have you covered. Be sure to check social media for cancelations or rescheduled events in the event of bad weather.
We know fireworks are definitely top of mind, so we have included a schedule of all of the displays we know of this weekend right here for easy reference. Have a wonderful and safe weekend!

Featured Event – Christie Clinic Presents Swim Under the Stars at Sholem Aquatic Center
NEW DATE – Monday, July 8, 8 – 10 p.m.
Swim Under the Stars has been moved to Monday, July 8 due to mechanical difficulties at the pool on the original date.
Join chambanamoms and Christie Clinic at Sholem Aquatic Center for a FREE evening of swimming under the stars!
From 8 – 10 p.m. on Monday, July 8, bring the family for an evening of swimming with glow sticks. Concessions will be open for purchasing snacks, and the pool will be staffed with lifeguards. You do not need a pool pass to attend this evening swim! Thanks to Christie Clinic for sponsoring this event, and to Sholem Aquatic Center for hosting!
