It is here! Memorial Day Weekend has arrived and the last day of school is coming next week (or may even have happened already, for some schools). Summer has come rushing onto the scene and area organizations are planning more summer fun than we think we have ever seen before! Get signed up for those summer reading programs, mark fair and festival days on your calendar and stock up on sunscreen now. It is going to be a full summer!

Find summer time fun at Champaign County’s forest preserves
Get closer to nature this summer at Champaign County’s forest preserves. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, golfing, hiking, cycling, stargazing and so much more at seven preserves throughout the county! Feed the koi fish, rent a pedal boat on the weekends, learn about the “grand prairie” in an exhibit at the Museum of the Grand Prairie, enjoy a free summer concert, pedal the preserves and camp under the stars at Middle Fork River forest preserve. Champaign Gymnastics Academy
CGA will be offering five weeks of Preschool Camp for Tiny Humans this summer! Camp will take place in their designated preschool gym, incorporating gymnastics, games, fine motor stations, crafts, and a daily snack. Each week has a unique theme to shape their lesson plans. For ages 3 – entering kindergarten.
