Make plans to enjoy the early bits of spring with your family all throughout our community this weekend
Families can choose from many events and activities happening this weekend in Champaign-Urbana
With some nice warm spring temperatures, we’re thinking about summer here at chambanamoms. Did you know that most area schools will be out for summer break less than six weeks from today? We have begun to compile everything we can’t wait to share with you when it comes to the summertime in Champaign-Urbana, with even more great things to come these next couple weeks. For now, review your summer camp options, learn about area pools (some are still even running early bird sales on pool passes) and make plans for the best summer ever with your family!

Boneyard Arts Festival
Presented annually every spring by 40 North | 88 West, the Boneyard Arts Festival is a three-day event showcasing the broad
range of creative activity flourishing in our community. Its goal is to bring together local artists, businesses and organizations for a special event showcasing the art of Champaign County.
More than a traditional arts walk, the Boneyard is a unique countywide celebration that takes place in a wide variety of venues
(over 90!) — both traditional (theaters, cafes, galleries & museums) and non-traditional (salons & retail stores) — and features the work of literally hundreds of artists. Sculptors, weavers, painters, photographers and other visual artists join musicians, actors, dancers, poets and performers of all kinds in sharing their creativity throughout Champaign, Urbana, U of I Campus, and
surrounding communities in Champaign County.
Families with kiddos won’t want to miss PostMark Urbana: Boneyard Edition on Saturday, April 13 from 12-4 p.m. in the Busey Bank parking lot in Urbana! Enjoy live music, art activities, Joyful Bubbles, Aaron’s Party Balloons, and Urbana Park District’s Urvana Mobile Recreation Unit!
