Vet Med Open House is a great FREE event for all ages. Put on by ~450 veterinary students, it features hands-on and educational activities with ~40 exhibits and demos. Whether you want to learn about parasites, milk a cow, or just touch a snake, you will find lots to do.

Get ready to experience a tantalizing blend of refreshment and excitement as “Ginger Ale’s,” the newest drive-through hydration station in town, is set to host its grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, October 3, at 4:00 p.m. This event promises to be a sparkling occasion that will introduce the community to a world of premium coffees, smoothies, handcrafted, flavorful, drink creations and snacks that are as delightful as they are unique.
Along with the ribbon-cutting, the shop will offer a myriad of fun specials and freebies October 3- 5, 10 a.m .– 6 p.m., for the public to enjoy.

Academy High
Come out for an exclusive glimpse into the world of Academy High. In sessions designed for prospective students and their families, hear from the Head of School about the Academy High difference, meet Academy High talented faculty as they provide a taste of their innovative curriculum, interact with current students, and learn about the admissions process, including their merit- and need-based financial aid. Applications for 24-25 and 25-26 are open!

Human Factors and Aging Laboratory
The Human Factors & Aging Laboratory at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking participants for a study on health technology that supports blood pressure medication adherence. Participants must be 65 years of age or older, take at least 1 medication for high blood pressure, and use an iPhone. Participants will receive compensation.
