Goodbye, April… the strangest month we’ve ever had.
With some not-so-ordinary circumstances, we are here for families in Champaign-Urbana when it comes to the resources you need to navigate these interesting times
Can you believe we’re closing out a month? April may go down as one of the strangest months we’ve ever seen as we entered it under a stay-at-home order and are spending its final days under that order yet still. Children are out of school for the remainder of the school year officially now and while much continues to be closed, we need to run our essential errands and desire to make the best of this situation by supporting local businesses, too.

The weather is improving and while many activities are closed, it is allowed to participate in some activities outdoors while practicing social distancing with your family. We have a list as to where you can get masks for your family in Champaign-Urbana, as well as parks you can visit that naturally promote social distancing by not having playgrounds (or having trails away from playgrounds you can enjoy). Want to take up fishing as a family this spring? You can safely do that in many locations – visit this post to find out where to fish in 2020.
Stay encouraged, Champaign-Urbana. You’re doing a great job taking care of yourselves and your families and we are grateful more than ever to be a part of this awesome community.
