If you’re having difficulty getting pregnant, you’re not alone.
Approximately 10-15 percent of women suffer from infertility for a variety of conditions. Carle’s Reproductive Medicine team offers guidance through the fertility process, focusing on your physical and emotional health.

Their medical providers work as a team to identify causes of your infertility and determine the best treatment options. Referrals are not required to make an appointment at Carle.
WHEN TO CONSIDER AN INFERTILITY EVALUATION
Infertility is the inability to conceive within one year for those under age 35, or six months for those over age 35. Regardless of how long you have been trying to get pregnant, providers are available to discuss any concerns you may have pre-pregnancy. If you’ve experienced any of the following conditions, consider a consultation or visit to your doctor:
- History of pelvic infections or serious illness
- Previous abdominal or pelvic surgery
- Menstrual complications or abnormalities
- Recurrent pregnancy loss (two or more)
