Professional Wrestling Returns to Champaign’s State Farm Center
All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite, a new professional wrestling entertainment brand, will make Champaign-Urbana one of its first stops when it broadcasts live from the State Farm Center on December 4.
That’s perhaps no surprise to those familiar with the story behind the nation’s latest professional wrestling craze.
All Elite Wrestling is the newest sports venture of Urbana billionaire Shahid Khan and his son, Tony, who also own the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars. Khan remains owner of Urbana-based Flex-N-Gate and the Urbana Country Club.
Tickets for the All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite show at Champaign’s State Farm Center will go on sale on Friday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. They start at $20. More information about the show, including previews, will be posted on the AEW: Dynamite website as it is becomes available.

Not familiar with AEW or AEW Dynamite? Get a taste of it this week, when the show will debut cable network TNT. Tune in on Wednesday, Oct. 2; the two-hour show will air live weekly.
