Businesses that offer ear piercing for children
No Regrets Tattoos, Champaign: “We went to No Regrets tattoo parlor in downtown Champaign. They did a great job and were very sweet to my then 9-year-old. I did have to keep the kid from looking closely at the displays, because they pierce everything there.” “Took our daughter who was 4 at the time to No Regrets. They did both ears at once and explained everything very well.” “We recently had my daughters ears pierced at No Regrets – they did a fantastic job of explaining the process to her as well as talking her through it during the actual piercing.” 117 W Church St, Champaign. (217) 351-9902.
Unique Anchor Tattoo Studio, Champaign: “I’d recommend Unique Anchor Tattoo Studio. I wouldn’t ever recommend a mall shop where a piercing gun is used.” 811 Dennison Dr. Champaign 217-328-3469
Claire’s at Marketplace Mall, Champaign: “I took my daughter to Claire’s at the mall. She has had them for over a year. The girls were great and they pierced both ears at the same time. The only thing that my daughter didn’t like was the attention she got from onlookers. She does not like to be in the spotlight.” ” I went to Claire’s in the mall and the cleanliness was on the mark. they also give you a hygiene kit as part of the fee. I agree with the location concern as it is located in the front of the store, but my daughter was too young to care. I have seen adults block views to prevent onlookers.” ” We just got our 8-year-old’s ears pierced. We went to Claire’s and the assistant manager and another employee pierced her ears- no problems! I was impressed with how sanitary they were. They showed us everything and explained how the products were sterile. They wiped everything down and wore gloves.” 2000 N Neil St, Champaign. (217) 359-3305.
Icing at Marketplace Mall, Champaign: ” I took my daughter to Icing at the mall. We pierced at three months.” “Icing did a great job with my 9-year-old son! We were pleased with icing and they even went over ear care with him.” 2000 N Neil St, Champaign. (217) 356-9795.

A Dermatologist: “My mom was overprotective and made me go to a dermatologist. That’s an option people might not think about.”
