The Illini volleyball team’s run through the NCAA tournament continues this week with another chance to see the No. 3 Illini in Sweet 16 regional action at Huff Hall in Champaign. Tickets go on sale on Monday, Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. (see info below).
Two more victories would send Illinois to its first Final Four since 2011.
Illinois will play No. 15 Marquette at 11 a.m. in Huff Hall on Friday, Dec. 7. The match will be televised live on ESPNU.
No. 6 Wisconsin and San Diego will face off in the second regional semifinal on Friday at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN3. The winners of the two matches will play on Saturday at 3 p.m. on ESPNU with a spot in the Final Four on the line.
To accommodate the live television broadcast, the match will be played at an unconventional Friday morning time, making it challenging for some fans to attend. This may make it easier for others to nab what might be the hottest ticket in town.
Season ticket holders will have an exclusive period where they will have priority access to reserved all-session tickets beginning Monday at 9 a.m. CT. General admission all-session packages go on sale to the public Monday, Dec. 3 at 9 am CT and will include a ticket for Regional Semifinal and Regional Final matches. A limited number of reserved all-session packages go on sale Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 9 am CT.
Reserved seating is $30; general admission is $20 for adults, with youth/student tickets (with ID) are $10.
Tickets will be available at the west lobby of State Farm Center from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. They are also available online or by calling (866) Illini1.
University of Illinois students with a valid I-Card can call the Illinois ticket office (866-ILLINI-1) or visit the west lobby of State Farm Center to purchase all-session tickets on Monday through Wednesday, with single-session tickets available on Thursday.
Here’s the full information on tickets.
One important note: Parking is extremely limited around Huff Hall because of ongoing construction. Due to Friday’s game times, most parking close to the arena will not be available; the State Farm Center lot is a 10-minute walk.
