The Illini volleyball team, seeded third in the country, will begin play in the NCAA tournament Nov. 30, and you can catch the action at Huff Hall. But you’ll need to be ready to go when it comes to purchasing tickets.
Illinois will face Eastern Michigan at 7 p.m. on Nov. 30 in the first round. With a win, Illinois will advance to a Dec. 1 second-round match against the winner of Friday’s Dayton-Louisville match. Saturday’s time has not been announced.
All-session tickets for the general public will go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 9 a.m. Tickets for single sessions will go on sale Thursday, Nov. 29, at 9 a.m. However, if you’re a season ticket holder, you can purchase tickets starting at 9 a.m. on Nov. 26.
Tickets will be available at the west lobby of State Farm Center from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday. They are also available online or by calling (866) Illini1.
Here’s the full information on tickets.
One important note: Parking is limited around Huff because of ongoing construction. A full list of options is available here, but two things to remember are that there are numerous metered spaces in the area, and university parking lots are free after 5 p.m. and on weekends.
If the Illini win their first two matches, they will host a regional at Huff Hall the following weekend. Two victories would send Illinois to its first Final Four since 2011.
