According to a post on its Facebook page, Champaign Outdoors is officially open for business at 2017 S. Neil Street.
Champaign Outdoors is an offshoot of the former Champaign Surplus, which closed its downtown location in favor of a move to the Carriage Center on South Neil.
From Facebook:
Champaign Outdoors has (soft) OPENED!! We officially unlocked the doors to our new location (Thursday) night and are open for business. We invite you all to come check out the new digs and see what we’ve been working on for the last few months. We don’t have all of our Fall inventory here just yet, but more and more of it is arriving every day and the floor is starting to fill up! You can already shop great new products from Patagonia, The North Face, Osprey and many others with even more to arrive soon!
Rugged Outdoors, another offshoot of Champaign Surplus, had previously opened next to Champaign Outdoors. For an explanation of the differences between the sister stores, click here.
