Register for our Nov. 8 preschool today! See below.
The Junior League of Champaign-Urbana, the non-profit organization that started critical nonprofits like Developmental Services Center and Crisis Nursery, has launched its 2016-2017 academic year of Bright Starts, the free monthly nighttime preschool program.
In its second year, Bright Starts has partnered with Urbana Early Childhood Center to provide monthly preschool academic instruction and social-emotional skill building to children and provide their parents/guardians with ideas to reinforce these skills at home. The program includes the whole family by providing dinner at the start of each session and childcare for siblings.
Many families have already taken advantage of the preschool programming, but you can even bring your preschooler (age 3-5) and any siblings as a supplemental programming. Children younger than 3 will have an opportunity to work with certified Head Start educators.
Classes are the first Tuesday of the month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Dinner for all will be provided at 5:30. Lessons start at 6. Child care for siblings is included.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Sign up for any or all evenings at 217-384-3616.
