Fun facts about a new program for parents & toddlers at the Montessori School of Champaign-Urbana!
Our program is designed to provide a nurturing experience for parents learning about their child’s development and natural desire to explore the world. The Parent Toddler Community is meant to facilitate a meaningful first experience in a prepared Montessori environment.
We are now accepting applications for our fall session. A two-day program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10:30 a.m. and a three-day program will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-10:30 a.m.
The three-day program has a slightly different curriculum designed for families that have completed our two-day program and is a good match for toddlers ready to experience materials and activities that expand our Montessori curriculum.
Toddlers ages 15 to 35 months and their parent/guardian are welcome to enroll by completing an application on our website or by picking up a copy at the school.
A head teacher will be present to guide both child and parent through the classroom as well as provide information about toddler growth and development.
The two-day session fee is $120 (12 classes) and the three-day session fee is $180 (18 classes).
