UPDATE: As of April 29, the 11 a.m. show is officially sold out. Tickets remain for the 2 p.m. show.
Chambanamoms.com is thrilled to announce that Grammy-nominated children’s musician Justin Roberts will return to Central Illinois this spring!
Tickets are now on sale for the Chambanamoms.com Children’s Concert at Allerton Park on May 4, with two shows — one at 11 a.m., with the second at 2 p.m. Seating is limited in Allerton’s Barn, so don’t delay in getting your tickets. And tell all your friends. They won’t want to miss this!
Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for children (and all ages need tickets for admission). Tickets can purchased online (11 a.m. or 2 p.m., each concert will be ticketed separately) or by calling 217-333-3287 (M-F, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.; attendees will be emailed ticket, which they can bring to the concert with a picture ID).
An hour before each show, there will be a community expo and children’s activities (bounce house anyone?). There will also be snacks available for purchase courtesy of the Allerton Ambassadors (and all proceeds go to Allerton). There will also be door prizes with great items from our sponsors!
We can’t wait to welcome Justin, who we brought to Champaign back in August of 2011, back to Central Illinois. So make your plans today to head out to Monticello and see one of the best children’s musicians in the country!
Just like a typical concert, fans at a Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players’ concert are jumping, dancing, and bouncing off each other in rhythm to the music. Unlike a typical concert, these fans are having a blast while their parents chuckle off to the side. Hopefully they have their cameras ready to catch the kiddie mosh pit found at nearly every Justin Roberts’ concert. Justin has performed in front of millions of people on The Today Show, he’s featured on Nick Jr. TV, and his song “Get Me Some Glasses” was featured on a World Series broadcast. He’s also garnered kudos and raves from national media including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, People, Entertainment Weekly, and the Chicago Tribune.
A special thank you to our generous sponsors: All Things Kids, B.Lime, Champaign Surplus, Frogs & Fairies, Heath’s Inc., iPower, Kirby Medical Center, The Little Gym, Monticello Dance, Gymnastics, and Cheer Academy, The News-Gazette, Sprouts Family Daycare, U of I Employees Credit Union, Village Wardrobe, Dr. G’s Brainworks.
See you on May 4!
